Minehut is a server founded by Luke Chatton in 2014. The server was originally created as a towny server and later expanded to other minigames such as Warzone. It wasn’t until January 2015 when free hosted servers were released. Minehut was acquired by Super League Gaming in mid 2018 and began expanding server capacity and stability to grow to over 30k concurrent players. It is now the 2nd largest Minecraft Java edition server, short of Hypixel.
